MANSFIELD— On Tuesday, Aaron Bowman, a dedicated husband and father, Air Force veteran, and public servant with nearly two decades of experience announced he is seeking the position of State Representative in Connecticut’s 54th General Assembly District.

Bowman is a former Security Forces Master Sergeant in the Connecticut Air National Guard. His two-decade career took him on multiple deployments overseas, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and a steadfast commitment to service. Beyond his military tenure, Bowman gave nearly two decades to the Connecticut Department of Correction. His primary focus has always been on promoting safety and security for not only the community but also staff and the incarcerated population while active as a union steward.

“I made the important decision to run for state office to bring morality, respect and individual freedom back into the public square,” said Bowman. “Far too many in Hartford want to infringe on our God-given rights and I am committed to preserving and building upon these cornerstones of our republic fighting for our liberties.”

Aaron is both personally and acutely aware of the needs of local families and businesses in Mansfield. His policies are tailored to serve these needs, with specific emphasis on fortifying small businesses, protection of open spaces, quality public schools, supporting the public safety of our community, getting state government out of the way which will drive down the cost of living.

“Connecticut has become unaffordable for many residents; the cost of food, fuel and other products continue to skyrocket while state government heaps more regulation and financial burdens on hard working families,” said Bowman.

Additionally, Bowman is a supporter of parental rights in education, committed to ensuring families maintain the final say in their children’s upbringing, NOT to government bureaucrats.
